She Lights Up the Dark (November Snow Book 2)

With She Lights Up the Dark, A.M. took all the parts that I enjoyed about She Dies at the End and built upon them to create an even stronger, more powerful novel.  Personal development of the characters was explored on a deeper level and I felt like I had a much better grasp on who they were, where they came from, and what motivated them.  I loved the growing bonds between the characters as well, particularly the relationships that fell into grayer areas.  Moments of tenderness and humor infused the paranormal creatures with relatable humanity and nicely broke up the tension of the race to thwart Luka’s schemes.   Read more . . .

I loved the well-grounded and highly convincing characters — even the creatures of myth that seem to walk side by side with humans, like vampires. She Dies at the End features a character that readers will easily sympathize with, but they will love the multilayered conflict and the neat and beautiful prose even more. If you’re a fan of fantasy, then this book is a great adventure.Read more . . .
